AHOY THERE' MATEY! Welcome aboard Pirate's Landing, where dining becomes an adventure. Located in Elkin, NC, Pirate's Landing is the most exciting restaurant in the Southeast. Your entire family will enjoy not only our delicious seafood and steaks, but also our unique pirate themed atmosphere.

Your voyage begins upon approaching the deck of the ship surrounded by water and fish. The outside and inside have been constructed to resemble a dry-landed ship, with 200 year old supporting wood beams brought directly from the St. Lawrence Seaway and antique planking throughout. not to be missed are the detailed murals of the history of piracy and of the book Treasure Island.

To make Pirate's Landing Seafood and Steak Restaurant a reality, the owner, Theofanis Kakouras spent two years scouring the world for pirate treasure. Weapons, cannons, antique rugs, tapestries, aged wine barrels and other artifacts are displayed throughout giving the customer a feel of truly plundered treasure from the pirate era.

Our Story
MEET OUR OWNER
Theofanis K. Kakouras emigrated from Greece tot he United States in 1974 with his parents and two older brothers. The family owned and operated three restaurants in the Lancaster PA area for 20 years. Theo brought the family legacy to North Carolina in 1990 when he opened the House of Pizza in Jonesville. It was here that he incorporated all of his inherited family recipes and knowledge into building a fine local reputation. The following years brought more success with Taki's Italian Restaurant in Hickory, NC, Theo's Italian Restaurant in Santee, SC, and Hillsville Family Fish House in Hillsville, VA. With great business savvy and perseverance Theo created two of the most reputable restaurants in the Yadkin Valley. His namesake restaurant Theo's Italian & Family Restaurant opened in February 1996 followed by Pirate's Landing Seafood and Steak Restaurant opening in August 2003. Of course, Theo couldn't have done it wihtout the support of his two daughters, GiGi and Alexandra.
